Dare to Dream Different Challenge, Round 2
Whoohoo! I was positively surprised when the winners of round 1 where announced on the “Dare to Dream Different” challenge website. My name was on the list!
Next step is to start working on a prototype and a video of my idea.. I read trough the rules of the contest and I think I’m allowed to post information and source on my website so you can follow it’s progress!
The complete list of Round 1 Winners are on the “Dare to Dream Different” challenge website:

Another thing: I like to get in touch with "Henk de Koning" from Veenendaal, the Netherlands.. If you are him, could you leave me a message.. I’m interested in your experice with .NET Micro Framework!
Hi Elze this is Amit from Bangalore, so what was your idea?
I’ve been following your blog well-before the announcement of the contest. My interest is more in porting to ASSPs. I like your ideas and am fascinated by your work.
Hi, I’m Henk. You wanted to know my experience with the micro framework ? That’s easy. None
.
I’ve done a whole bunch of development based on the full and mobile framework (I used to hang out on review sessions over at corp when the thing was still called COR and URT — and basically changed names every 5 minutes or so –, so I spent quite some time with .NET itself).
I’ve also done my share of device drivers and embedded development, but all on other platforms (ranging from super specific (16 and even 8 bit !) USB devices to windows embedded and mostly in (embedded) C(++)).
Looking forward to playing with the kit we’ll receive. I started looking at the micro framework when I heard I made it to the next round. Of course I started with a web server, only to discover that you have one too
.
